Greetings to my fellow ACHE/GCHEG members and those of you interested in learning more about our organization and chapter!

On behalf of the Board of Directors, thank you for your interest in the ACHE Greater Charlotte Healthcare Executives Group (GCHEG). Our GCHEG Board is a group of dedicated healthcare professionals who are committed to adding value to the communities we are privileged to serve. As a new member or returning member, please know that your chapter is here to meet your professional development needs. Whether it is through robust educational offerings, Board of Governor review courses to achieve Fellow status, mentoring program participation, and/or networking events - we provide multiple opportunities throughout the year to connect to the chapter.  We host these programs successfully with the dedication and support of our members.  Please consider attending an event, or better yet, joining a committee to support the work we do.  We are always seeking mentors, guest speakers and panel members for our programs and activities as well.

The Greater Charlotte counties that comprise our chapter are the following: Alexander, Alleghany, Anson, Ashe, Avery, Buncombe, Burke, Cabarrus, Caldwell, Catawba, Cherokee, Clay, Cleveland, Gaston, Graham, Haywood, Henderson, Iredell, Jackson, Lincoln, Macon, Madison, McDowell, Mecklenburg, Mitchell, Montgomery, Polk, Rowan, Rutherford, Stanly, Swain, Transylvania, Union, Watauga, Wilkes, and Yancey. Our geographic area is large, and so is our goal is to offer highly accessible GCHEG sponsored programs and activities across our footprint.

This year, we have the unique opportunity to extend our education events across our footprint by using video conferencing capability at remote sites. If you are interested in leading a remote site event, please feel free to reach out to me. We encourage all ACHE affiliates within our geographic area to actively participate within GCHEG and to continue their professional growth by advancement within the College. We have a strong chapter, with over 600 members, and by working together we can continue providing quality educational offerings!  Please let us know how we can be of service to you.

About Me

I joined ACHE shortly after transitioning from the manufacturing industry to healthcare back in 2013. I became very active with the Chicago chapter of ACHE, the Chicago Health Executives Forum (CHEF). I spearheaded CHEF’s first “A Day in the Life” Executive Shadow Day Program. After relocating to Charlotte in 2015, I became active with GCHEG and joined the Outreach and Communications Committee. I obtained the FACHE® Credential in 2016. I currently serve as Director of Business Operations at Atrium Health, where I am responsible for fiscal management, data and clinical value analysis, and scheduling for surgical services for our Central Division hospitals (Carolinas Medical Center and CMC-Mercy).

I am a proud graduate of Clemson University, where I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering. I obtained my MBA with a concentration in Operations Management from Loyola University Chicago. I am also a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt through the American Society for Quality.

In my spare time, I serve as Director of Educational Activities for the B.E.A.M. Foundation (Building Excellence, Affirming Manhood), focused on mentoring middle and high school minority males across the Charlotte area. He enjoys the outdoors, physical fitness, spending time with family and friends, and Clemson football.
