If you have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and a commitment to the profession of healthcare management, then you are invited to join ACHE as a member. There is no better resource to have at your fingertips than the premier organization for healthcare executives. Annual dues are $160 per year for the first two years, $265 in years three through five and $345 after five years and $75 for student associate status.

Student Membership

To be eligible for Student Associate status, you must:

Be enrolled full-time or part-time in an undergraduate or graduate program in health services administration or related administrative field that leads to a bachelor’s degree or higher.

Be enrolled in a healthcare management program where the program or college holds at least a regional accreditation.

Expect to graduate more than 60 days from the date of application.

no additional charge!


When you become a member of ACHE, you will become also become a member of GCHEG if we are your local chapter at NO additional cost!

GCHEG is a local chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) serving western North Carolina. Our membership is comprised of over 600 local healthcare executives interested in meeting healthcare professionals and sharing their experience and solutions to use in their day-to-day business environment. Current members work in a variety of settings including hospitals, physician practices, IPA’s, health plans, consulting firms, pharmaceutical companies, technology development firms, nursing homes, state/county health departments, universities and other areas of the healthcare industry.

  • Local chapter membership is included as a benefit to all members of ACHE. Only ACHE affiliates are eligible to hold membership in chapters.

  • You are a member of GCHEG if you are a member of ACHE in the GCHEG chapter service region.

  • Membership in GCHEG is AUTOMATIC and FREE when you join ACHE or move to the chapter service region from another ACHE chapter area. No separate application or fees are needed, and you are automatically added to GCHEG’s news and mailing list.
